Meet Jordan Tariff: Singer Songwriter

Hi Jordan, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?

Music has always been this incredible outlet for me. Whether i’m feeling happy, sad, angry or annoyed I work through it at the piano. Even before I was able to play any instruments, I was always singing in the shower or singing for my friends and family. I wasn’t always singing other peoples songs though, I was making up my own. Then I discovered Coldplay and was blown away by the storytelling in their song writing as well as their ability to move me. I instantly knew I wanted to tell stories through music. I’m constantly writing/creating music because it’s the thing that allows me to truly appreciate the good and bad things in life while also expressing myself. Even when I’m writing for other artists, it’s an opportunity to help them tell their stories. We all live such unique lives but it’s amazing how certain experiences can resonate with everyone. Music is a universal language and I love being able to share my take with everyone.
